"School of Rock has taught me how to perform in public with self-confidence."
Adult Program/Grad School
Our Grad School program accommodates students of all levels over the age of 21. If you have music in your heart and want to learn how to play an instrument - OR if you know how to play and want to meet like-minded enthusiasts and expand your horizons - Grad School is for you! Our staff has the experience, talent, and expertise that is unsurpassed. They have prepared our "undergrad" students to play alongside Jon Anderson (Yes), Adrian Belew (King Crimson, Talking Heads), John Wetton (King Crimson, Asia), Ann Wilson (Heart), Alice Cooper, and Earl Slick (David Bowie) among others.
Many of our Grad School students are parents, who want to take some out of their busy schedule to rock out! Students are able to learn at their own pace and have fun while rehearsing and performing with other adults.
The Grad School Program includes a weekly private 45-minute private lesson and a weekly 90 minute group rehearsal. Our program director will guide the group through selected songs and prepare them for live performances! Courses run in trimesters, with new songs and a performance to look forward too at the end of each season; it's like a super cool college course with the addition of actual 1-on-1 instruction!
